Maryland sets up a tattletale hotline

I thought George Floyd should have just obeyed the law and he would be alive.

Or who cares about stop and frisk if you aren’t carrying guns or drugs ?

Just cooperate if you get pulled over Or you get what you deserve.

So shouldn’t the same logic apply. ?

Follow the law and no one will call the hotline on you.

Why can’t you guys be consistent for 5 minutes? View attachment 150709

Floyds Death has NOTHING to do with Leftist Authoritarians and Masks

Masks are NOT Effective

Florida sheriff orders deputies not to wear masks, bans civilians in masks from office

A Florida sheriff barred deputies from wear facial coverings in most work settings, authorities said Wednesday, even as the state continues to struggle with record-breaking coronavirus numbers.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods insisted there's no conclusive evidence that wearing masks curbs the virus' spread — despite explicit CDC guidelines that say just that.

Sweden’s Top Epidemiologist Says Just Wearing Face Masks Could Be ‘Very Dangerous’

Tegnell has long expressed doubt about the usefulness of masks. “With numbers diminishing very quickly in Sweden, we see no point in wearing a face mask in Sweden, not even on public transport,” Tegnell said last month, according to Fortune. “That Sweden has come down to these levels is very promising,” Tegnell told reporters in Stockholm at the time. “The curves are going down and the curves for the seriously ill are beginning to approach zero.”

The Swede’s top immunologist’s comments came after Holland’s top scientists, who have examined data and research about COVID-19, declared there is no clear evidence that wearing face masks helps stem the spread of the virus.

Pennsylvania’s Health Secretary reportedly cut a secret agreement with a car show near the state capital that enabled them to get around coronavirus restrictions on outdoor gatherings.

According to legal documents obtained by local Pittsburgh outlet WPXI, Dr. Rachel Levine made a confidential settlement agreement with the Carlisle Car Show near Harrisburg that allowed 20,000 people to attend their four-day event in June. According to Pennsylvania’s color-coded reopening plan, outdoor gatherings are limited 250 people or less.

Masks Are Neither Effective Nor Safe: A Summary Of The Science

A review of the peer-reviewed medical literature examines impacts on human health, both immunological, as well as physiological. The purpose of this paper is to examine data regarding the effectiveness of facemasks, as well as safety data. The reason that both are examined in one paper is that for the general public as a whole, as well as for every individual, a risk-benefit analysis is necessary to guide decisions on if and when to wear a mask.

Are masks effective at preventing transmission of respiratory pathogens?
In this meta-analysis, face masks were found to have no detectable effect against transmission of viral infections. (1) It found: “Compared to no masks, there was no reduction of influenza-like illness cases or influenza for masks in the general population, nor in healthcare workers.”

This 2020 meta-analysis found that evidence from randomized controlled trials of face masks did not support a substantial effect on transmission of laboratory-confirmed influenza, either when worn by infected persons (source control) or by persons in the general community to reduce their susceptibility. (2)

Another recent review found that masks had no effect specifically against Covid-19, although facemask use seemed linked to, in 3 of 31 studies, “very slightly reduced” odds of developing influenza-like illness. (3)

This 2019 study of 2862 participants showed that both N95 respirators and surgical masks “resulted in no significant difference in the incidence of laboratory confirmed influenza.” (4)

This 2016 meta-analysis found that both randomized controlled trials and observational studies of N95 respirators and surgical masks used by healthcare workers did not show benefit against transmission of acute respiratory infections. It was also found that acute respiratory infection transmission “may have occurred via contamination of provided respiratory protective equipment during storage and reuse of masks and respirators throughout the workday.” (5)

A 2011 meta-analysis of 17 studies regarding masks and effect on transmission of influenza found that “none of the studies established a conclusive relationship between mask/respirator use and protection against influenza infection.” (6) However, authors speculated that effectiveness of masks may be linked to early, consistent and correct usage.

Face mask use was likewise found to be not protective against the common cold, compared to controls without face masks among healthcare workers. (7)

Please. Won't you cite the law we the people are to follow? Last I checked, no legislature, in any State, has passed such a law, including Maryland. Free people do not follow the dictates of elected individuals.

So the president and congress can’t make laws?

It must be hard for you to go to restaurants and wear shoes, pants and a shirt.
Maybe you should go on a crusade against that. Especially since those don’t even save lives.

That's what the now fired cop was saying to his fellow officers, you are being ordered to enforce something that is not, "a law" and in some cases directly violates the consitution.
But what I think they are now doing is using not "law", but administrative regulations that are being levied on businesses.
The threat is no longer to the citizen, but to the business owner who can lose their license(s) to operate as well as face stiff fines.

Of course, we may have by virtue of paying our taxes, agreed to waive our constitutional rights.
I didn't think you could blanket sign away your rights, but then there is the 'privilege" to drive.
If a cop wants to stop you and search your vehicle they don't have to go to court to show probably cause.
Simply state there is an equipment violation, your license plate lights are dim, I couldn't read your plate.
Hand over license, registration and proof of insurance. Oh, let me make a quick visual search of your car and smell your breath.
Something smells odd in your car, would you please exit so I can search your vehicle.

What happens in any traffic stop if you fail to agree with a search?
Why you are "detained".
Get pulled over for a suspected DUI but later the charges are dismissed for lack of evidence.
Not to worry, the MVA will levy a fine and require you to pay for an in car breath test, and if by accident that should fail, you will be required, at their discretion to pay for another month of monitoring.
We don't limit your right to own a firearm, we limit your ability to purchase ammunition.
So when we complain about the enforcement of mask orders, we have already allowed our rights to be stepped on every day in the name of "safety".
