New York already has this in effect and I thought I was gonna go crazy when we went to the bar and I could not smoke. I can agree with not smoking in resturants but a bar? Most people go to a bar and know that it is gonna be smoky in there.

Im not sure if this is true or not, but I overheard someone say that they were also trying to ban people from smoking in their cars. I also feel that it would be wrong if they do that.
I believe that they are trying to do with cigarettes what the did with alochol in the prohabition.

My feelings on the ban are pretty neutral. I don't care to eat surrounded by smoke, but when I go out to drink/socialize it's a different story.

There will still be places to go, but they will be membership only.

Can anyone, anyone, show me where the Maryland Constitution, http://www.msa.md.gov/msa/mdmanual/43const/html/00dec.html , the legislature of Maryland is given the authority to do this? I read it. Don't see it.
