Massive Fire in Solomons

I was planning on driving my bike off for some maintainence, sounds like that might be delayed.
I am not sure how far down the line the fire went but I would imagine most of the shops were damaged. I am just glad no pets were harmed. I think I might know one of the owners based on the last name of the animal posted on the vet's Twitter about being relocated. They take higher risk pets to a 24 hours clinic or else more pets could have been in harm's way.

happy to be living
My first store was between the vet and bike shop. The building was very old and I was the only tenant without a back door. I believe at one time my space was a hardware store. There was all kinds of crap behind there inc straw and an old boat and lots of junk. Before I moved in, there was a homeless guy living there and I understand he died in a booth at Jethro's. I was always worried about fire. I am sorry this happened especially to the thrift store. (hope they had insurance)

We got a dresser from the thrift store a few months ago and had to go around back to pick it up so it could be put into our truck. I do remember all the crap that was back there. My neighbor works at the thrift store. :ohwell:

Yes, It was the old location of Sneade's before they moved to Lusby. I don't remember how far down Sneade's went in that building, but it was at least the vet and maybe as far to include PAC and your shop in between. I dunno if PAC expanded or the vet did when you moved out, I don't remember anything else in between recently. Down at the other end, was a pretty recently opened tanning salon & boutique.
