May have fractured two bones in my ankle.

If it's as swollen as you say, they can't cast it until the swelling goes down anyway. All Breton Urgent Care can do is diagnose, medicate and send you to a specialist. What did you expect from them?

A diagnosis of whether it was fractured or not.......

I thought you said they knew it was fractured in at least one place, and a 2nd place is suspect... based on what you communicated, they did everything that could be expected.

Since she hasn't denied it, I'm going to assume it was wheelies.

:bs: how's the leg?
Well, the dr. and the nurse practictioner took a looky at the X-rays today and they aren't "sure" if I have one or two fractures or none at all. I've had two different operations on the ankle (tore all the ligaments and they re-created them by splitting a tendon and wrapping it around the ankle in 1997, I think) so since my ankle isn't "normal" they are referring me back to the dr. that did my second operation. He's in Baltimore and only does legs, from the knees down. I don't think I'll go. I have the boot thing to wear that goes up to my knee and I think I'll just use that for a few weeks and see if it heals. To those of you who don't know BECAUSE I AM SO EMBARASSED ABOUT IT, I did drop a bike on my ankle (not the Rebel) , going at 0 speed, don't even know how I did it cause it happened so fast, didn't damage the bike, but the ankle looks like hell. Live and learn. So let's not talk about me dropping the bike, k? I am so pissed I can't ride for a while.

:huggy: Hope you're okay. I remember the first time I hurt myself on a bike, and how stupid I felt. Don't give up!
