McCain Suspends Campaign

On the news. Going to go work on the financial crisis. Obama has not responded yet.

Well, I guess the original repsonse from Camp Obama was "No! we're no suspending ours nor are we postponing the debate!"

Then I guess they realized that BHO would be standing up on the podium all by himself while evrybody else was working the issue, then the reponded that BHO would join in.

Funny, but McCain took the role of leader, and Obama had to follow

I stand corrected, looks like camp BHO said the debate is still on.

I can hear the liberal bloggers breaking out the KY Warming Gel and one-handed keyboards already.

McScared won't debate Obama (all praise his name) because he know he'll lose.

:blahblah:

Can't wait to read all the links that will be posted here.

If Obama does not join McCain, everyone will believe that Obama's personal ambitions far outweighs his desire to take care of the American people.

How convenient, McCain is weak on the economy, this was a bull$hit excuse not to debate Obama. Let's face it, McCain is not a very bright guy.

Actually if you look at his committee commitments, McCain is going back to fulfill his senatorial obligations to his constituency - putting them above his personal ambition.

It doesn't matter if Obama goes back or not. He's not on any significant committees so he'd only be going back to vote. He can call in his "present".

Yeah... it really looks very presidential pretending that his own campaign is far more important that getting back to his Senate seat and doing the work that he was elected to do.

Psst, hey Nonno's MPD, Friday's debate topic was focused on foreign policy. The SECOND debate in October concerns the economy.

Put the debate was "Foreign Policy" and not domestic affairs. McCain was probably going to wipe the floor with Obama ... so it wasn't an excuse not to debate. If it was anything political, it was amove to stop Obamas momentum on economics.
