Did anybody hear or seen anything regarding this incident???

Maryland State Police officers have agreed to investigate allegations that Charles County sheriff's officers used excessive force in arresting the son of Wayne Cooper, president of the Board of County Commissioners.

Bryan W. Cooper, 28, was arrested Sept. 20 during a country music concert at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf after a struggle between Cooper and sheriff's officers in which he was shot with a Taser. During Tuesday's commissioners' meeting, Wayne Cooper (D-At Large) distributed a statement saying that he had been present during the incident and found the officers' conduct "excessive and shocking, both as a father and as a private citizen."

At 28, he should know how to act when approached by the police. If you do not act in the appropriate manner, you get tazered. He shoulda known that too. They should tazer his dad too for raising his thus.

There were two articles in the Maryland Independent also. The article on Wednesday stated the younger Cooper had groped a woman. The article on Friday had Daddy's accusations against the Sheriffs and statements from the attorney representing young Cooper.

If the son is anything like the father, it wouldn't surprise me he acted as such. Wayne Cooper is the President of the Board of Commissioners. His behavior is that of a malevolent king to his subjects. Examine how many career personnel in county government have quit or retired since this man took office. The county government is in shambles. It's a shame, but the only Commissioner worth a darn got fed up with the garbage and moved out of state. But there sure are a ton of signs littering the roads with the Commissioner's names on them extolling how the Commissioners are spending our money. Funny how these projects are never within budget.
