It is true that I did not get up to talk. I will speak from 29B.
The school Board meeting was very sad. The overcrowding of the schools just dominate everything. The budget does not have money enough to give the teachers a cost of living allowance, no more money for materials that the teachers use for instruction, not enough maintenance personel or equipment, not enough money for all the books, BUT, they do have to keep spending money for more relocatable trailers to handle the overcrowding. They did spend money on the trailers for the overcrowding.

The saddest part is that the Board of Education is doing the best that it can, because the real problem comes from officials that were not there. Like Steny Hoyer and his employee and Commissioner McKay and others of the oligarchy that have created the overcrowding through their Navy Base greed while our schools have to deal with their after effects.

When I get into office then the school Board will have this one representative on their side and we will put a stop to the greed and to the overcrowding but for now the oligarchy still rules in St. Mary's County.
