I think the solution to school over crowding is sterilization of anyone who receives government assistance.

Not to mention the immediate castration of anyone who is incapable or unwilling to perform the duties of a parent, but has kids anyway.

Don't forget people who spray paint government buildings.

JP, what you should do to highlight your topic, is go up to the chalkboard and write.....TRAILORS
This will get those educators attention and then you can proceed with a good speech.

:yay: The real issue is the overcrowding. The trailors are used to make room for the overcrowding. The overcrowding is happening all through the County's infrastructure and not just the schools. The fact that the teachers and students probably can run out of the fire boxes before any one gets hurt is not the point. We need political leaders in our home town here to speak up about the overcrowding and to put a stop to it.

If overcrowding is the point your trying to make or use as the basis of your platform or agenda, then use that as the topic of discussion. Don't post lies, fabrications or speak to issues that you know absolutely nothing about, i.e. the trailer fire at Carver or how safe a trailer is or isn't.

You failed to respond to any of my comments from your original post on the fire a few weeks ago. This ultimately shows how little you really know about the topic of how safe portable classrooms are.

Oh, and BTW trailers is spelled with an e, not an o.

All the overcrowding is coming out of the greed driven big business from the Navy Base and it needs to be stopped and I plan to stop it flat.

Consider the new families coming into our County to work on the new Navy projects and they find that their children are put into "relocatables" that now some have already burned and you can tell them that hey, if the trailor catches fire then the kids can run away from the fire and we will put you a new trailor there to take its place because not rain nor sleet nor burning school houses will stop our Navy Base greed from coming in.

One great way to stop the overcrowding is to tie the tubes of deadbeat fathers to prevent them from spawning more kids. Those with live-at-home fathers who hold a job and pay taxes will have a tax base to pay for the schools.

:yay: It is true that I did not get up to talk. I will speak from 29B.

The school Board meeting was very sad. The overcrowding of the schools just dominate everything. The budget does not have money enough to give the teachers a cost of living allowance, no more money for materials that the teachers use for instruction, not enough maintenance personel or equipment, not enough money for all the books, BUT, they do have to keep spending money for more relocatable trailers to handle the overcrowding. They did spend money on the trailers for the overcrowding.

:yay: The saddest part is that the Board of Education is doing the best that it can, because the real problem comes from officials that were not there. Like Steny Hoyer and his employee and Commissioner McKay and others of the oligarchy that have created the overcrowding through their Navy Base greed while our schools have to deal with their after effects.

:howdy: When I get into office then the school Board will have this one representative on their side and we will put a stop to the greed and to the overcrowding but for now the oligarchy still rules in St. Mary's County.

BOE, January 18, 2006 meeting, 2007 Budget,

Current Revenue Projection: $148,740,014.
Requirements (Expenditures): $151,303,060.
Difference : - $2,563,046.

The budget is overdrawn by some 2.5 million dollars.

Perhaps you should check into how much the administration employees are paid. Maybe then you'll figure out why the teachers aren't paid enough, there are not enough books for the children. Or, perhaps, look around at the fancy furnishings and decor at the BOE administration building. They must be REALLLLLLLLY poor. I think brass door knobs and those hand-crafted mohagony desks are a great way to spend the Board of Ed's $ ......I think the greed comes from "inside" the BOE. JMHO.
