Well everyone. I broke the metal detector throwing it in the van. Snapped the sucker right in half. Sorry Nickel. PM sent too!
Damn! I was going to borrow it so my wife could be proud of the extra pounds I lost.MysticalMom said:Well everyone. I broke the metal detector throwing it in the van. Snapped the sucker right in half. Sorry Nickel. PM sent too!

Can I borrow it anyway and try to fix it?MysticalMom said:Well everyone. I broke the metal detector throwing it in the van. Snapped the sucker right in half. Sorry Nickel. PM sent too!
You can HAVE it now if you like. I'm not sure that fixing it will be an option though. I snapped the round bottom detector part right off the pole.huntr1 said:Can I borrow it anyway and try to fix it?
Finding the metal stakes depends on the date of the last survey. It was not a requirement to put in metal stakes in earlier years. We found out the hard way when we went out and purchased a metal detector for the same reason only to find notta... You could always do the purchase, one time use, and return?dustin said:Does anyone have a metal detector I can borrow for a few weeks? The kind I need is one of those one would use at the beach to find stuff buried in the sand. I can put a deposit down.
The reason I need it is I need to find the metal rebar/stakes marking my property lines. I called the builder a few days ago and was told by them that the markers should be below the grade...meaning underground...they suggested a metal detector....
It's a brand new house, and we were told that they're out there.Angel said:Finding the metal stakes depends on the date of the last survey.
