Mexican Restaurant Ideas

It's 5 O'clock somewhere!
I've heard it's very good..no liquor license.

We like Mexico (PF) and go just about once a week. We have our favorite dishes, we like the staff and the meal is good and the service even better.

Mexican food also varies by region so the way food is prepared can vary from restaurant to restaurant.

Had been to the LT in Waldorf several times, but had been going to Mexico in PF since it opened. So when LT opened in PF, daughter and I went to check it out. First words out of her mouth:

"Dad, this menu [ed. meaning food and design] looks EXACTLY
the same as the Mexico!" :pete:

You guys have been teasing my appetite here... never been to Salsas, so I think that's where I'm going tonight!

Anyone have suggestions on good Mexican restaurants in the area (St. Mary's/Calvert)?

Mexico Restaurant is my favorite! I could eat there everyday! I love pretty much everything on their menu! La Tolteca is good, they have the same quality of food as Mexico, but I think Mexico has better service and they always remember faces.

Rosarita yum did you get some Lobsters while you were there?

You are right no where will you get local food but you will get close and Salsas is as close as you can get. La tol Teca in La Plata/Waldorf is good as well but they asked for a resturant in St Marys. The restaurants around here are more like the drive through shops like Albertos etc. out in San Diego.

My all time favorite thing is Carne Asada Fries they are to die for :yay:

OMG Alberto's!! I lived on their Carnie Asada burritos when I was in College. They were like a $1.00 and lasted two days they were so BIG:drool:

You familiar with the area? It used to be the Surrey Inn. It's on southbound 4 just before you start down the hill to where the bowling alley and car wash are. It's across Rte. 4 from the Calverton School.

We used to go there at least once a week until they got these two b1tchy females waitressing in there. They were so rude to us, we stopped going. The guys are nice and helpful with the menu, but the females roll their eyes at you and won't speak up if you ask a question. Then, if you have to repeat, they sigh and get an attitude.

They lost our business for good. Such a shame. I'll go over to the one in Waldorf before I go to PF again.. they are all nice over there.

qualify this, do you want a good one, or just want to know which is the best of the lot.

GOOD: Go to Annaopolis - Chevy's

Best of the rest: Salsas in Leonardtown (Mattingly's)
