Does he legally own them and have the right to declassify them? If he does, they can scream all they want and send in the troops - they don't have the right to them, and their behavior regarding them has been juvenile.

Biden was Vice-President, and as such, has zero legal right to just walk out the door with classified documents, and he certainly followed no protocol in their removal.

That's irrelevant. It's important to watch the left hand when the right hand is waving about - the question isn't whether he had the RIGHT to them. And it's not did the chain of custody follow ANY sort of secure procedure. It's why NOW after six years are they "finding" all of this? It is IMPOSSIBLE for them to "find" four (thus far) groups of classified documents unless they've ALWAYS KNOWN ABOUT THEM.

This is a DEMOCRAT STUNT to tarnish Joe and remove him. He's toxic to their brand. And he could still lose to Trump or DeSantis in 2024.

That seems to be missing in most news accounts and I don't understand why. It's cut and dried, he should have never had those docs in his personal papers after his VP term was over. Also, someone signed them out to him and didn't call out that they were not returned.

My feeling is that someone found out or was aware of these docs and was ready to blow this story up so the powers-that-be decided to self report it. Someone in the DNC? Kamala? Newson? (since he was nosing around the WH back when the lawyers found these docs in Nov)

I wonder if the investigation into Trumps documents uncovered some that they wanted to nail him with only to find out Biden had them.

Apparently, more were found in Biden's home yesterday. ABC was doing a detailed story on it, but wasted no time in making sure that when Trump had documents what a bad thing it was and downplayed Biden's possession.

I noticed any report or written story has to mention Trump and how Biden cooperated and Trump didn't.

I am getting more and more convinced that these findings are a conspiracy by democrats to remove Biden from the White House. The media is of course a part of the DNC and is working with them. Camel Toe is at the Naval Observatory packing her sheit up for the move even as we speak. Willie Brown is looking forward to sleeping in the Lincoln bedroom.

“Chairman Jim Jordan announced this House Judiciary Committee investigation into the DOJ actions related to the President’s handling of the classified documents today,” explained CNN anchor Anderson Cooper on Friday night. “How much does that impact the DOJ ongoing investigation?”

“I certainly would advise them — if they were willing to listen to my advice — I would advise them to take a very hard line against that,” McCabe said. “There is a clear precedent here of not sharing information from an ongoing criminal investigation with Congress. And I think the DOJ is in a very strong position to resist on those grounds.”

“Who knows what comes of that resistance?” McCabe continued. “Maybe DOJ leadership starts getting subpoenaed. And ultimately, that fight will end up in the courts. And that could drag things out. That’s going to be an additional distraction to DOJ. But it shouldn’t disrupt the actual conduct of the investigation. So, that’s a — it’ll be a separate but related set of stressors the DOJ has to deal with.”

MTG's take on this - GOP decides to investigate the Bidens - completely manufactured "scandal" concocted out of thin air - send in a "special counsel" who will completely sanitize everything, effectively covering his dealings once and for all.
