Looks like Miss Blue is finally learning to play chase instead of fight chase, at least with Buff.
They were going back and forth this morning for almost 15 minutes, without very many hisses or growls from Blue.
She didn't even go after Cooper like usual when he showed up to watch.

Miss Blue is definitely in a Want Out mindset some days.
She growled at me yesterday as I was shooing her in.
Today, though, not too persistent, so no Outside time.

Mr Buff's charm offensive towards Miss Blue seems to be working. This scene is getting more and more common, though she still chases him a bit.
Miss Bonnie Blue is now 13.
She and Buff are as likely to exchange nose bumps or social sniffs, as she is to bop him.
She and Cooper still seem to have an armed truce. She chases him once a day with a lot of bluster, but is now stopping part way up the stairs after Cooper makes it to the upstairs hallway.

Happy birthday, Miss Blue! Our last two rescue kitties were so much fun. Sox was deaf from birth, and Tommy thought he ruled (had two rescue dogs st the same time). My mother called it our peaceable kingdom. Tommy’s fave place to sleep was in the rocking chair. If Sox walked by, Tommy would bop him on the head. Sox couldn’t have cared less, and kept on going . And, our black lab/greyhound mix used to give the cats a bath. They were all awesomely cute. Thanks for the triggered memory. I miss them, so.
