Did you tell him you picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue?Fun fact! I met Lloyd Bridges at Bear Valley Ski Resort. I had a really bad migraine and he came over to ask me if I was okay and if I needed anything.

more than likely the sub imploded at depth, so no more than enough time to say "oh crap" and you're done. Not like the Kursk where you're just deep enough to know you're going to die, but not able to do anything about it.What a horrible way to go.

Looks like the little lady doesn't know comedy.I never watched that whole movie. Too stupid.
I felt stupid and stupider for even watching Dumb and Dumber.Looks like the little lady doesn't know comedy.
I didn't mind it quite so much although moments were cringe-worthy. I have tried to watch Airplane! and similar type movies (Naked Gun etc) but I just don't think they're funny. Most of the movies that make me laugh are regular adventure type movies - with funny moments. Outright "comedies" almost never make me laugh. I thought the last two Thor movies were hysterical.I felt stupid and stupider for even watching Dumb and Dumber.
there would be, but it would be on the bottom. After a certain depth things that would normally float don't.If it imploded, there should be some sort of floating debris field.
There is also the possibility that it took on water without imploding, which would leave it settled right down on the bottom too.there would be, but it would be on the bottom. After a certain depth things that would normally float don't.
Do you remember a blimp floating around here a few years ago? That's what they were trying to do, pick up color shades to see if they could find a submarine visually. The deepest a military sub goes is about a half mile (as per Janes fighting ships). You know, I always kind of thought our technology was sophisticated enough that we could see a vehicle under water without too much trouble.
Especially one that MUST have some means of signaling the surface.
if they took on water at depth then there would be sub full of people parts, water coming in at that depth would be like a plasma cutter. There is also the possibility that it took on water without imploding, which would leave it settled right down on the bottom too.
I was thinking as it descended, but yeah. It would hit worse than a pressure washer.if they took on water at depth then there would be sub full of people parts, water coming in at that depth would be like a plasma cutter.
I've got no first hand knowledge of this, but the Boiler techs on the ship used to look for leaks on the pressure side by waving a broom stick in front of them, when it got cut off that's where the leak was.I was thinking as it descended, but yeah. It would hit worse than a pressure washer.
I'm inclined to think, early accident since they say they lost contact with it after an hour or so.
