Nice pics there Morgie.

Now you guys have had time to reflect a little.............

What was different than what you were used to in the USA?

Anything stick out in particular?

Smells/odors, food recipes, what did the locals wear, etc.?

The European lifestyle is very different, relaxed. People drive crazy there but no one gets mad. Scooters zip in and out of traffic and around cars like mosquitoes. Steve drove the van so well!

I like their 2-3 hours break in the middle of the day. They don't shove a dinner check in your face until you ask, they want you to sit and enjoy the meal and your friends. No tipping...it's almost an insult.

The people drink their small Italian caffes and smoke like crazy. People walk or ride bikes and alot are very thin. In Florence, which is very cosmopolitan, women wear boots and jeans, but not like Wranglers.. Men have long hair, carry man purses and wear stretchy headbands.

Italy smells fine except for a few WC's... In Rome you could smell people cooking...olive oil, tomato sauce...etc.

I have nothing but wonderful memories and must return :huggy:
