Mothers owning up to having a favourite child

Peace
Does your friend not give any reasons for this?

That is tough. I think unless you go through this yourself people do not understand.... I am glad you were close to your father. Do you think your sisters noticed that you were your father's favourite and your mum tried to compensate?
I was always a daddy's girl. ...

I never knew they knew. It was never spoken and my dad also loved them very much. He just did special things with me. He took me to breakfast early in the morning. He let me drink coffee. Things like that. I always felt I was his favorite. I'm the only one with brown eyes and hair like him and we just had very similar personalities. It wasn't until he passed away and one of my sisters said something about me being his favorite. She said it in a "joking but we know" way, not as if she were mad though. I said "You know I was his favorite?", I didn't know they had picked up on it too.:lmao: They were like, "Um, yeah. You were dads favorite." :blushing:

I am sorry to hear he has passed away:huggy: Sounds like you have some lovely memories with him.
