Moving to SoMd--looking for young Jewish people

I hope this is the right place to post this. I'm getting ready to move to Calvert County and I'm hoping to find some young Jewish people to start a Shabbat dinner group or something like that...Does anybody know if one exists, or have any interest in starting a new one?

Thanks!

Moving to SoMd--looking... 04-19-2006 01:59 PM ignorant fatty, that makes you half jewish too OK jackass, I should have explained more. My HALF brother is HALF Jewish. Well, not really. Judaism is a religion, not a race. But nevermind. I was trying to be funny. But yes, my stepmom's family is Jewish. :yay:

P.S. Phatty is spelled with a PH. :yay:

jewish heritage is passed through the mother, so if your mom is then you are, and if she isn't then you aren't, least thats the way i understand it.

And i am pretty sure it is fatty:

BUT
My stepmother's religion is Jewish. Her family is from Germany, which makes her German. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't race determined by where your family is from? She is Jewish just like my stepfather is Catholic. Both of them are religions. Neither a race.

Maybe she meant this...
The problem with "phat" is that it is no longer in really. It has kind of phased out and is mostly used by wannabes, lowerclassmen in high school, or middle schoolers. It is now considered a slang faux pas. I wouldn't use it if I was you.
