If you really have to do a u turn in 20 feet, I am not going to pass it. I did it about 6 years ago and wasn't all that familiar with the bike. Maybe I have lost my super powers?

I did a figure 8 in the rectangle when I took the class....I think it was a 10' X 10'....just don't put your feet down or do like Pete did in the parking lot of his office *howembarassing*

Yes, it is easy. You have to do an 8 inside a narrow box.
Come practice your U-turns on Chancellors Run Road Sunday morning, of course
I have done it. I think the box is 20'X60'. I can't seem to do it now though. I'll keep practicing. Left circle I can just manage, right is harder for some reason. I think, like someone mentioned, I need to accelerate out of it.
Be aggressive and slide you ass way over on the high side. Remember Big Twin Harley's HATE to be lugged at low RPM. Rev up, throw it over, slide to the high side and go lock to lock on the bars.

I will try that. I've been keeping revs up and using the clutch to adjust speed.
Clutch and rear brake.
Or like you did at the corner of 235 and ST Johns road. *ategrass*
Clutch and rear brake.
And DR... HOW did you run over your own foot? I can't even imagine getting my foot near the wheel without dumping the bike.
I was going at least 15 when it went over and I landed in rocks, not grass
Clutch and rear brake.
The GW is a bit different than the Harley in that it will run at low RPM in a higher gear and not bog. Tends to not be so reactive to the throttle. But just letting off the gas is like applying the brakes. I use the feather-clutch method with a little twist of the throttle.

Beats me, I didn't even know I could get close to it. I had to get out the white spray paint though.
Not what you told me unless you were talking about the other 2 times that same day you flopped it.

Right....
If I can pass the advanced, anyone can. Only thing that pissed me off was the tight turns. Mine is lowered and everytime they made me turn too tight, my pipes scraped the ground on the bottom, aft tip.If you really have to do a u turn in 20 feet, I am not going to pass it.
