I was getting ready to head that way, thanks for the warning. So did they downgrade the Cat. A patient to a B or did they end up having another patient that was Cat. B???

They wound up downgrading the original patient.

Well, thats a good sign for them. Heard anything else on it??

Nothing so far. It sounds like the road may be shut down for a bit. One signed refusal, one ground transport, one fly out is what it sounds like at the moment.

19YOF was the one ejected. A white truck was involved with a male driver, he had a signed refusal. Dunno about the other two patients.

At 1509 hours, a motor vehicle accident was dispatched to the area of 26600 Budds Creek Road in Chaptico alerting Station 2, Rescue Squad 5, EMS Stations 29, 59 and SMALS. Initial reports were one ejected.

Chief 2A (Emmart) arrived on the scene to find three vehicles, confirming one ejected and requested a medevac. Fire and EMS personnel treated the injured and secured the vehicles. After assessing all the individuals involved, one would be flown and one transported to St. Mary's Hospital.

Engine 21 (Deputy Chief Hemming) handled the landing site at Chaptico Park for Trooper 7.

Trooper 7 transported to Prince George's General and units cleared the scene in just over an hour.

Chief 2A held the command.

Mechanicsville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. - Company 2/22

From what I was "told" the Pontiac (red car) was stopped to make a left hand turn (into the park?) and the Black Cadillac rear ended the Pontiac which caused it to go into oncomming traffic, which caused the White truck w/seeder in tow to collide. From what I'm being "told" the young lady ejected had cuts & bruises and a broken collar bone.

Looking at the vehicle it is amazing that she lived thorugh it, but thankfully she did......

Glad to hear she's gonna be OK. That is one nasty looking accident.

Guess she missed the day they taught them to use a seatbelt

Who knows, the decision she made may have been what saved her life

Not that I am promoting ppl to not wear their seatbelts, but who knows, her injuries could have been more severe had she had it on.
