OK, I know this is going to sound like a strange question. My cat started sneezing like crazy all of a sudden, probably 10 times in a row. I saw her playing with something in the corner of the kitchen, figured it was a spider or something. I went over there and it was one of those blue lizards. Wonderful, just what I felt like seeing in my kitchen!

Anyway, does anyone know if contact with those lizards can be dangerous for a cat? She's an indoor cat and the lizards are normally outdoors so she's never been around one before.

They can eat your cat.

I sure hope not because I find them :dead: all the time with holes all over them. And they come in somehow because my cats do not go outside.

They can carry parasites that give cats worms and such.

:yikes: Unbelievable. Thanks for the info.

What the hell is a skink doing in your house in the middle of the winter?

 I was wondering the same thing. Almost had a heart attack because I wasn't expecting to see it, never seen one inside before!

My dog had been outside about 5 minutes before and I wonder if he brought it in without my noticing? But I didn't know they were out and about during winter, hadn't see any since fall. Didn't know what they were called either, thanks!

Oh really? You find dead lizards all over your house? :barf: Wonder if the dogs bring them in?

Living in Florida they were forever on my porch and deck, they can come in through the smallest cracks. I have one very prolific lizard hunter and I was constantly taking half-chewed lizards away from her.

Interestingly I recall someone commenting they had seen a snake outside not that long ago, and there was even snow on the ground! Snakes out in Winter? Now that's weird ......

Sure is weird. Afraid to see what spring will bring if these creatures are already out now! :yikes:

As for my kitty, she :barf: last night and seems fine. I'm watching a little closer now when I let my dog in. Don't know if he brought it in or not but he wont be bringing anything in for sure now. :lmao:
