Over the years breeding shelties and cockers we have had many things eaten...The cockers seem to enjoy underwear and shoes, while shelties prefer cords. Our sheltie stud that we kept as a pup was horrible...telephone cords, shoelaces(not the shoes themselves though) bra straps, the sides to bikini underwear, basically anything with thin straps.
A friend of mine has a mastiff...he seems to like to eat her thongs whole n then throw them up later...or they come out the other end...ewwwwwwww

When I was little we had a cocker spaniel that chewed through a lamp cord while the lamp was plugged in and turned on. :jameo: His name was Sparky. :lmao:

Jingle did that when she was still a really small pup - yelped really loud. I was terrified.

And in true dog fashion, the first thing she did was try it AGAIN.

Unplugged the lamp, and found another way to plug it in elsewhere.

We've had em do that too...but mostly the shelties go for cords...cockers usually prefer something a little more umm substantial to munch on

Daisy did that to my Electric mattress warmer when she was a pup. I woke up hearing her thumping the floor next to the bed. She was chasing the pretty blue spark back and forth. :lmao: That was my first clue as to what I was in for with that dog.

Sam chewed on one of my heavy duty extension cords. First and only time I have heard her make a noise while she was awake. She just got through it enough to get some current I think. No holes that I could find, but she did get zapped. She hasn't gone near the cord since.
