We made lots of big booms at IH back when I was working there; the static rocket engine test facility.

One of the building I was working in had one of those while I was visiting.

Shook the whole damn building for a couple minutes.

We'd make BIG noise back when (mid 80s) we were pulling all the old Talos SA launch motors out of storage and certifying them for use in the high-speed target that they developed with them. The old Bull Pup launch motors were no slouch either.

The remaining Talos missiles were converted to MQM-8G Vandal supersonic targets, simulating anti-ship missile threats.

Hearing ‘booms’ this morning. A couple have shaken my rv. Coming from south and west of Port Tobacco. Checked the Dahlgren schedule but not seeing any testing scheduled today.
