Brake
Brake. Break? My ribs freaking HURT.
Brake
I'm gonna take a #### in it and plant a gerber in it and put it out to catch cats. And make helmets out of cats.
Larry,
Your thread title blows
I thought there was a new invention out I was gonna have to look into
.... The first crash was just a few little stars. The second one was *BAM*, that harsh explosion. No effing way.
If the helmet struck anything it must be discarded and replaced.
Wonder why?
That's just twisted, right there.
I'm sure Vrai will make it all better!!
That actress chick who is brain dead from a sking accident fell and conked her grape on the bunny slope and kept skiing. An hour later she got a headache and went to the lodge. Tomorrow they are pulling the plug on her. not that that is common at all but keep alert.
To be sure lets do a word association game. I will post a word and you reply a response.
Ready.......
Plastic
The story I get is that it compromises the integrity of the helmet from where you hit due to your head over compressing that area and possible weakening of the shell on the outside of that spot that you won't be able to see or tell.
Until it's too late and your woman is changing your diapers.
Vrai?
I wasn't wearing a helmet when the hood of my car came crashing down on my head. Thank goodness I can still change my own diapers.
what? you have your own track?!You shush, smart azz!
I found out why it felt like a brick wall where I went down; it was a brick wall. I was digging out the track today, deepening the turns, cleaning it up and, viola, right where I crashed, about a 8 by 8 area, nothing but shale, right below the grass. I had to reroute and lengthen a pretty big turn to get away from that mess. It actually flows better now and sets up a snap hook turn that works pretty good, coming out of the rerouted turn.
So, I'm not a total old man piss! No wonder that crap hurt so bad!
what? you have your own track?!

Pics please. Sounds interesting. I mean, as soon as you're not seeing double anymore. Need you to aim the camera in the right direction.
good stuff!Here it is;
1,000 long, 19 turns, a few small jumps. Plenty of room to crash. No trees or poles anywhere near 'gotcha' range.
good stuff!
elevation change too

Yeah, that was one of the decisions that was more effort than I'd anticipated. There's a great sweeping turn on one end that worked out and is fun to blast up but could also be a nice down hill. Plus, there's room left in the middle to do a few more things. It's not Budds nor will it ever be, but it's awful damn convenient!
