oh no I just caught this..I am actually crying..poor baby..im so glad he had a wonderful home though...and someone who was willing to do whatever it took..even to letting him go painlessly...I am just so sorry to hear that..breaks my heart to pieces.

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers. I can't believe it has been a week. Another weekend without him is going to be tough. Maybe some closure on Monday because I will be able to pick up his ashes.

I picked my boy up on Monday and he is residing next to my last girl Babs. My heart is still broken but each day is a little better. Thanks again to everyone for your prayers and thoughts. It was a difficult journey made a little easier with all the love we received.

He's doing great! Just a slight scar but all of his fur is coming in nicely. He's just a bit more spoiled than he was prior to his ordeal. Thanks for asking.
