Do they freeze well? Man I'm glad me and hubby kicked the habit some years back. Too damn pricey these days.

but I guess your point is I should Quit ......... but where what would you libs do for tax money then in everybody suddenly quit smoking ....... Farmers out of business, companies going under, factory workers out of work

Wrong.

All of those things have positive uses. When used in moderation, all of those things are just fine.

Smoking, in moderation, is not. When used...as directed...it will kill you.


For what it's worth...I used to smoke. It's stupid.

If you have kids counting on you to be a parent...it's EXTRA stupid.

Which now the republicans have filed a lawsuit. They say that the laws that were made were not constitutional according to marylands constitution... So we shall see...

I stay away from tobacco.

Every now and then, I have the urge to go buy a pack and smoke it at the main entrance to Central office. They just put way too many additives in it to make them addictive.

However, I don't mind that other people smoke. Instead of taxing the consumer, they should penalize the comapnies (and not financially). If they're so concerned about the long term damages of tobacco, ban it. :duh:

After all, they did ban Marijuana for "medical" reasons. :rolleyes:

Maryland is turning out like D.C. with theese tax increases , next talking on cell phone tickets ... double fines for parking ... yes , time to cross the bridge to Virginia for cigarettes

Haven't seen that one yet. I do have to say that I am glad I kicked that habit. With gas going up and down and now everything else...I think you are right, time to go to VA and stock up.

...and trans, I have no problem if they ticket cell phones (while driving) or double parking fines. It's illegal.

$10.00 on gas to get to VA, maybe, but I have to go anyway for other business, so the gas is not a factor.

Save a dollar, no more like $50.00 for a month's worth of cigarettes. After the first, if VA doesn't raise their tax, I'll be saving a hundred.

The democrats are creating smugglers, and I'm proud to be one of them.
