I didn’t get possession until I was 15. At that point I would come home from school and break out a box of CCI, grab a few cans out of the trash and go out back to shoot.
I lived in what was almost literally a wilderness area growing up. Tens of thousands of acres of woods, fields and streams...a few settlers that lived mostly miles apart.

Back in the day sawmill set up in the woods they were cutting, They didn't haul logs to the sawmill, the sawmill came to the logs.
We had sawdust piles that got pretty large and when they left the sawdust pile was still there, we made Forts out of them and shot our BB guns on anything that moved.

It is an Afghani Qama. I do have a Pompeii pattern gladius...
