My wife chose money over me !!

I want ya'll to notice that I was the first one to call out for a SugarDaddy. Step back in line and wait your turn.
Ummm... excuse me, but you married a geezer in the hopes you'll soon get yours... to the back of the line you go...:annanichole:

I'm sure that you don't remember this, so I'll refresh your memory.

My wedding day, and the vows where I said, "Yes, I take you, Bob, for richer'er and richer'er".

Now do you remember?

Well, since that didn't happen, I need to go out into the world and find alternate sources for money. Legally.

hmmm now there is a thought. But couldnt she have broken the news to him BEFORE he jumped in the shower :tap:
:nono: She needed hubby distracted while she called her boo.

Man.... you girls are harsh..... :ohwell:
I can't believe the OP didn't think of this himself. What husband is okay with another man buying presents and expensive items for not only his wife but his child as well? And what kind of man does that kind of thing for another man's wife and child? As I mentioned before, unless he is the wife's dad, or the child's dad, there's some hanky panky.

Are you kidding? If he were smart, he'd have her asking for motorcycles, boats, Ravens season tickets....

I wish I had a husband who had a girlfriend who would buy us stuff.

 I was more referring to the 'he stank' kind of comments.....

BUT: I've been there. I have 2 wonderful friends, known him since kindergarten, her for about 10 years. We are all very close, and she is a very important piece in my life. I was always buying her things, just because I could. And yes, some things were rather expensive, like new boots so she could go riding with me. He was fine with it. And there was never, and never will be any hanky-panky and I never gave him any reason to doubt or suspect either of us. It is a possible scenario.

BUT: I'm not so sure that was the case in the OP's post. He was not happy with the gifts, and the wife does appear to be gift-happy.

Nothing in life is free my friend, you need to tell her no more money and shopping sprees or else.

Im not going to say your wife is cheating on you because I dont even know the woman, but I will say she is putting herself in a bad position because even if she is completely oblivious and just enjoying the shopping spree, what is she going to do when one day he calls in his favors?

(On a side note, I think its nice you were looking forward to spending time with her! Some guys sit on the couch and watch TV and cant be bothered.)

You know a long time friend, a nice present every once and a while is no biggie.

A friend/co-worker - food, small gifts, birthday presents, maybe a little something for the kids, that's no big deal.

But buying very expensive presents regularly for a friend and her child alike, along with giving her a little folding money...really? seriously? That's sending off every warning bell that has ever existed.
