Hello all,

Does anyone no where I can have a tire patched in the northern Calvert area (preferrably Dunkirk) tomorrow morning?

I have a nail stuck in the tread of my SUV front tire. Luckily it's not in the side-wall.

Any reasonable service stations in the area open tomorrow morning that can fix the tire?

Thanks.

Almost any service center can do this in under 10 minutes for less than $10...

While a simple plug can be done for that amount I myself would never trust a simple plug for more than getting to a gas station. For a full repair you want what's called a plug patch which requires the tire be removed from the wheel. Should run about 20 or 30 bucks.

I have pulled many a nail out of tires and put a plug in while the tire is still on the car or truck and never had a problem. Ya gotta ream it and glue it.

Know, I don't no of any place in NOthern Calvert.

Nails...who nos where you picked it up. Do you no if you drove through construction? Oh, and know, I don't think most places patch tires any more. Most of them I've seen plug the holes. Be sure and let us no how it goes. We like helping people, even if they don't no know better on certain word usage.

We don't need to be reminded how much of a dead-beat deek-weed you are, do we?

Tire shops should patch. Repair shops might not, but any tire shop should.
Gary, I know you can plug and never have a problem. Millions of folks do. Me, I prefer the extra security.
