I usually get nails at Lowes
You most have been the guy I saw in the paint row today! Grabbing all of the different colors, and painting his toes. He left in a rainbow station wagon. Was that you?

I was hurrying through Lowe's Thursday to grab a new TP holder, some window screen and reflective letters to make some quickie repairs at home.. I saw this really cut pot and grabbed some bamboo cutting so I could give training them a shot..

Needless to say I got home and saw that the three bamboo twigs cost over 15dollars!!!
I was not about to pay that kind of money for something I can cut an acre of on the farm for free....
So I returned them, and most likely spent that much in gas going back the second time that day..
:ohwell: But it was the principle of the matter.....
Tomorrow I'll be digging bamboo if anyone wants any.....

The salon that Migtig and I went to in Huntingtown a few weeks ago was amazing. Beautiful, clean and they did very good work. I HIGHLY recommend it.:yay:
Thursday I went to Kim's to get a repair and color change. That place was FILTHY!!! The guy did a shoddy job on my nails and actually left part of the old french manicure on the underside of my nail. :ohwell:

Man, that sucks :buttkick: Guess i wont be going back there anytime soon. I dont go often anyhow so its nice to hear when places start acting stupid. :howdy:

In My Opinion
I chew my own.

I dont think I could stomach paying someone else to do it for me.

Be about it
I go to Kim's Nails (used to be A&T) in San Souci and like it a lot. I'm not fond of any of the other joints around, especially Wildewood.

I know you were looking for places in St. Mary's, but just to put it out there, i go to Mega Nails in Pinefield and have Jackie do it. She's great!

Well I ended up going to Kim's in Lexington Park (near the dollar store) and I'm satisfied. Kim herself did them, it didn't cost as much as I thought it would, and everyone was very friendly.

Did you watch to make sure they changed "utensils" after they did the GMR ladies nails?? New cutter for the cuticles? New sanding disk on the dremel.. who knows what kind of infections the last person in there had under their nails.. Hope you didn't scratch your face, or itch an eyeball, or pick a booger out of your nose since you had your nails done.. **face eating bacteria**

There's a reason hospitals and nursing homes won't let nusrses have nail jobs, or fake nails.. A few years back a hospital traced the source of unknown infections and a few DEATHS, back to a nurses fake nails..

Hmmm...Nails in SoMD? Didja try Dean's Home Center, True Value Hardware, 84 Lumber, or Lowe's? Even grocery stores have them sometimes in the Housewares section.

I have had good experience with "Nails by Geri" in leonardtown. She is on Pope Street. Very reasonable prices. She does great work. 301-475-2323

 Actually, I was impressed by the service there -- everyone was very nice, and everything looked clean to me (those who know me know that I'm very wary of that kind of stuff!)
