Maybe a couple others.

okie dokie.

1. Hellmans
2. Heinez.. the other ones taste to sweet
3. doesnt really matter
4. dont really use them.. make my own
5. I like tides smell.. but normally go for whats on sale
6. n/a dont have one...:bawl:
7. Buy whats on sale
8. dont buy augratin...make my own :yum:
9. Kraft, but at all costs.. I make my own

my own- Cheese wise, either velveta slices, OR deli slices kraft

Now generic soda wise, I will get the FL kind and such. (cause they are cheaper) But- if its diet anything.. ONLY PEPSI.. dont really like coke products except for sprite and dr pepper.(,---which is my drink of choice besides DP)

Also- I will agree with cmdanal, I buy JIF peanut butter because there is a big difference from the generic.

ommm I am sure I will think of others.

What is this obsession with mpds?
Honestly, I dont know how some of you manage to trust anyone at all. Is this some mass paranoia thing that just permeates this place?

Why would you concern yourself with our obsessions? You make it sound like everyone on the forums is obsessing, when in fact, the majority of members never even mention it. So, why are you keying in on the mpd issue?

Im sorry I made you feel defensive about it. You have a good point really. It isnt everyone but there are a couple of people that seem to turn any topic into a discussion of mpds. Ive been accused of being one and it seems that anyone new that comes along is accused of the same. It just seems weird but its not that big of a deal. I was just making conversation.

Geez. I get caught up in work and come back to find ya'll comparing household products and swapping Satan pics.

For cleaning, the only thing I use is diluted ammonia - cleans those baseboards lickety split and will dissolve any grime it touches. For dusting I use that Pledge Clean and Dust stuff. That's it - no other cleaning products under my sink. Oh yeah, except for generic Comet.

Here's what we buy name brand - everything else is generic unless I have a coupon or there's a sale:

  • cereal
  • canned soup
  • chips
  • laundry detergent
  • liquid fabric softener

As far as the actual brand goes, whatever I have a coupon for is what I buy. Larry just goes in and grabs whatever - that's why he's not allowed to do the grocery shopping. He's also the Sam's Club type that will buy a 20 gallon drum of ketchup because it's a good deal. :duh:

Aint that just the luck. Take me for instance. I AM an MPD, and I never get any attention for being such. Sh!t happens.

I was thinking of inventing an mpd using the name "mpd" just to satisfy the sceptics.

I'm not defensive. Just pointing out the error. If you don't like the people who seem to obsess about mpd's, don't engage them. We all happen to like each other just the way we are.

Really? I see a lot of sniping going on in this love fest sometimes.
:)
Still I appreciate your pointing out the error.

:yeahthat: I buy generics ALL the time. A few things I've discovered aren't as good, so I don't get them anymore. Most things, IMO, are pretty much the same.

Dean (fiancee) works as a buyer for Giant and for the longest time the Giant brand juice was made by Motts...as are most of the generics. Most of the time it's the exact same recipe and everything!~

Yes, that is definitely an item where generic is NOT the way to go!

I just realized Ive been spelling clique wrong all my life. You learn something new every day.
:)

Cliques are only natural. People always gravitate to those that they have a lot in common with.
