I love that painting. I bought one of her paintings a few months ago because I loved the scene (reminds me of Abell's Wharf in the day) and because one of the boats in the scene has my name (first and middle) on it. I still need to get it framed, though.



I can so totally picture it as a bait store. I would love to see the pictures sometime. I find it interesting to "turn back time" and see things how they used to be around here.

I'll bet and I can hardly wait to see them. I gave my mom some books on the history of St. Mary's for her birthday and loved going through them looking at the old pictures of "the way it was."

Nice picture. Yes, I remember the great ice storm of a few years back and hope to NEVER repeat it. No power for a week, hauling firewood and packing the 'fridge full of ice to keep things cold, the sound like shotguns of cracking limbs and dull thud of the trees landing. Ugh.
