Why? When some kid is punished for refusing to follow the established rules and is disruptive to others, and the parents step in and sue the city because some public official made the kid comply, what does that teach the child?
I'm trying to see in the article where the either of the kids were considered "disruptive".
Why wasn't a simple removal from the classroom enough? Maybe the SUBSTITUTE teacher should have asked one of the administrators for a little guidance on the "problem".
My "over the top" comment was aimed at your supposition that these kids are going to grow up and be crybaby jerkwads because the parents want to sue.
