I called my mom, who lives only a couple of miles away off of 249, and she never lost power.
Ours flickered a couple times and I thought we were gonna loose power but we didn't.

It wasn't out that long, but it took my A/C out. I turned it back on after I was sure the power was going to STAY on, but it was only blowing warm air and was actually getting HOTTER in the house. I shut it off, opened the windows, turned on some fans, and prayed for a cool breeze. Do ya have a reset button on the A/C unit itself........try pushing that and then turn it back on.
