"smart" and AT in the same sentence?

Do you work in "military intelligence"?
 we used to go over to the NAS and trouble shoot problems when the ATs ran out of boxes to swap

So are they with Master at Arms (Military Police for the Navy). TAR is a good program, unless your husband is looking at the military for a full time job. TAR is reserves.

A Tar is active duty 24/7 365. It falls within the reserve program because you are training them. Tars are not weekend warriors.

Correct, a TAR is a Training Active Reservist, which means 24/7 365. The only downside is as a TAR, if the Navy ever decides to downsize, Active military will most likely stay unless he's in a real critical job and his status might change to inactive reserves thus he has the potential to become a weekend warrior... :coffee:
