Bill Barr laid it out in his autobiography about how the rank and file would have had no respect for Patel, you can throw a tantrum all you want but we’ve invested billions of dollars in training tens of thousands of very capable FBI agents.

Heck, I bet most voted for Trump, but one thing people in the rank and file don’t stand for is leadership incompetence.

I honest to God can't think of a single time that man stepped up to the plate and distinguished himself. I do think SOME appointments, the recipient regards it as a political position where they just delegate and pat themselves on the back for showing up to Cabinet meetings --
