Ahh she has a name "Sky" I love it. Was that her name or did you name her? How's she doing today, adjusting?

How is sky doing today Unix?

Doing great. She's eating like a horse, but I'm giving it at small dosages. She's walking around the yard really well. Still can't do stairs. Slept through the night. Her and Radar get along great. Still nervous about letting all 3 run loose in the house. ie. Sasha :diva: So she goes in my room when Sky is loose in the house.
Sky is great. Cats mean nothing to her. She won't poop or pee in her crate. I let her out this morning and she promptly went potty outside.

Anyway KK is on her way over to see her.

Thanks for asking.

Sky is her real name. She responds to it very well.

She is adjusting. Here is a few more I took of her.

What a beautiful dog Sky is! I'm so glad she was saved, she looks like a big mush. I hope she's well enough soon to go to a forever home.

To all you rescuers out there, keep up the great work! You have hearts of gold. :huggy:

She is so cute.
I PM'd you

Sky is adjusting very well. :smoochy:

You better take her before I keep her.

She is so trying to keep up with my two, but not sure any breed can keep up with boxers. She runs with them and lays down after a minute. :lmao: It's definitly her left hip that is bad. The guy said she got kicked by a horse on that left rear side. uh huh! what ever. Be prepared to lift her up (60 pnds) and down the stairs. My back hurts. :faint:

Enjoy.

Sky went to her adopting family tonight. :bawl:

My two stooges and I miss her. :huggy:

Thanks Wharf :buddies:

So glad I got to meet her today- she is very sweet and I know that Wharf-rat and Mrs. Wharf-rat are going to take really good care of her as foster parents until she gets a furever home!

She did fine last night. Our resident dogs needed some attitude adjustments but no real issues. She claimed the floor right in front of the stove and sawed logs all night.

She looks like she loves a nice warm fire. Cute pics. She seems to adjust really well to new homes, very quickly. Good luck!

I'm glad she got a good home. It must get tiring carrying her up stairs. They make slings to assist dogs. I wonder if that would work for her?

This one looks ok, but I'm not sure how she'd potty.

This one looks pretty comfy.

Wharf rat and his wife will make a great "FOSTER" home so Sky will still be looking for her forever home.

She's a total sweetheart.

As far as being carried up and down the stairs, that's because Uni is such a sucker  for a pretty face..... she will be fine going up and down stairs once she gets more used to moving about freely and getting exercise. Any dog that tries to keep up with his two boxers, can surely climb a flight of stairs....

People think this breed is so mean. She is very sweet and has soft eyes. I am certain she appreciates being saved by people that care.

Steps are not an issue. We only have 2 going off the porch but she handles it fine. She's making plenty of friends and they're keeping her on the move. She loves the beagle puppy and has no issues with the other animals at all.

wharf the 2 of them in the first picture looks like they are both lookin for something. The puppy and sky are both very pretty dogs. I also like the picture of sky infront of your woodstove she looks so comfy. I am glad she isn't crated up. the only times bruno sees her crate is if we have to go somewhere and can't take her or if we go to bed at night as she can't be trusted not to come upstairs or to eat the house as shes only 11 months old.

She'll be in the crate when we're not here. It's more for her safety then anything. She dosen't have a problem with going in there though.
