My cat was always the Alpha B!tch over the dog. A German Shepherd nonetheless.

Oh, and another thing, my DH had to deal with some really sad faces after he picked up the kitty. The workers were happy he found a home but said they were going to really miss him. My DH had to wait a while while they workers said goodbye.

You know, they say that JR's are highly intelligent dogs and the Turkish Angoras are highly intelligent cats. :killingme This union will be interesting.

I always heard that with JRTs it's a 100 pound ego stuffed into a ten pound dog. Must be a real ego buster for him to be beyotch slapped by a three pound kitty. :lmao:

Ken it is so effing funny we have been laughing our hind parts off all night. The dog was in the DH's lap, the kitty walked up, smacked him on the head with his paw and took off running. We have a 3-piece sectional sofa that has a pull down cup holder, the kitty fell in the back of it and got stuck trying to make his get away. :killingme Earlier, I threw Milo's squeaky toy, both of them ran after the toy. Milo stopped in his tracks and just looked at the kitty.

The one thing the kitty just will not tollerate is Milo walking up and sticking his nose in his arse. I know Milo is just trying to say hello, but the kitty just doesn't like it one bit.

 I knew somebody would question that after I posted this message, but yep, the description does say "highly intelligent" for the JR and the Turk.

I have a retriever kitty, but only for giant rubber bands. She'll bring it to you and drop it at your feet. When you get ready to shoot the band, she starts wiggling her butt, then waits until she hears the band lands and then takes off. :lmao:

Sounds like Milo has met his match. I hope they bond and become best friends. :yay:

We are also still debating on getting his sister. Currently, she does not have anyone interested in adopting her and we can just make a phone call if we decide in the next day or two and they will hold her for us. We just don't know if we can handle 3 attention whores. :tap: We want to be 100% sure on the decision but we also know we don't have too much time to think about it. She was just fixed yesterday, so it would have been better to wait to bring her home anyway. I wouldn't want her running or tearing anything.

as they say 3's a crowd. I personally hope you get his sister because if milo doesnt want to play he will have someone to play with while you are at work and the kids are at school. I have 3 cats and 2 of them play all day while one hisses when the baby gets near she hates him because for some reason he likes to hump them even though hes a fixed male. His favorite game is chase and sometimes I have to get stern with him. Has the cat found a favorite person to sleep with yet? or does he go to all rooms and wake all up with the game of attack the feet while sleeping?
