Great boat. I really like wooden boats even though they require regular mantainenace. We had a 16ft runabout with a onan inboard. There was no engine cover and one day my Dad burned his leg on the manifold. That was the end of the inboard. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker by trade and he removed the inboard plugged the bottom where the properler shaft went through the hull and converted the transom for use with an outboard. It was made in about 1950 and I kept it up and running into the mid 80's.
Anyway it's a beautiful boat and I hope you get to enjoy it for many years. Maybe I'll get the bug and build one before I'm shovel ready.
