WElcome to the forums Prettyinpink. If driving does that to you, do not attempt to drive across the bay bridge.

Ah yes, the scary bay bridge. Been over that when I wasn't panicky before and even then it was an issue. It's just much to creepy to be ok.

Thumped as in bashed or teased.

Thanks for the clarity. But, like I said.... the nastiness can be scrolled beyond. If someone cares to share their opion and it's not in my favor that's great. We all have our own opinions and they are indeed individual. Now, if someone wants to resort to plain mean, and nasty simply to cause me pain then that's a different story. It will only go to show how immature someone is. I would hope that people would choose to be adult about matters.

You see, I have panic disorder, and my trigger is being in a car, driving or riding. I can only go so far before I panic.

trigger by being in a car.. hmm. What about biking? Would you be able to go farther by biking? moped? motorcycle?

My heart races just looking at that thing. :twitch: Horrifying.

I have often wondered about that. It wouldn't be too easy to cart a three year old around on any of those, however. Knowing him, he'd want to jump off, or grab for the other vehicles.

I drove it one time and I really tried to enjoy it. I've never gotten a migraine quicker in my life! I'm such a :baby:.

They make seats for kids that mount on the rear of bicycles, you can strap them in. Used to ride my boy around in one. He's sit back and wave at people like he was in a parade.

Ah yes, the bike seats! Forgot about that. Think they would be as effective on a motorcycle or moped? Of course that would be provided either was equipped with sissy bars.

You know, I have made good progress in a car, and will continue to. It's not as though I'm totally homebound.
