Well I didn't notice it didn't attach the photo so we are both having moments.
They bought Roses II to pacify the morality police. Wahoo, the imfamous strip joint is shut down, never to return again.
"FDR" from Great Mills Rd to 235 is a private road, it's not county owned and unless they buy out a lot of business and residential property it's never going to be connected.
They;ve drawn a line on the map and can now extort money from any builder who comes near that line.
Study your Maryland civics, this county can't blow it's nose without approval from Annapolis and it ain't coming.
Not in our lifetime anyway.
FDR is mapped to continue from the private portion across Great Mills Road through the (to be leveled) Roses II building and will terminate across from Lexington Park ES.
Nothing is dead. It's mapped all the way from Wildewood to Lexington Park Elementary School. That's why the county bought Roses II. That building will make way for FDR.
You are right in the amount of time it will take to complete the whole thing. Probably another 20-30 years from now.
Too bad we can't drive on a map, huh?

Please reread the thread.
No one is talking about what is.
We're talking about things that are planned. And to do that, one must look at P&Z maps.
Ah, you missed the sarcasm, I guess. I'm saying planning is one thing, execution, another.

The "age restricted multi family" units will be to the right of the pond closer to Shady Mile Drive. The other stuff is all in front of the pond according to the map I have. The "pond" is actually a storm water management pond.
