ZTecknik has a sale on 'blemished' ( I dare someone to come and find the blemish, I couldn't find it) pipes.. $399.

I couldn't pass it up. It looks great and even sounds better.. Not REAL loud.. picked up a little volume, but it has an awesome growl.

Have the Db killler out now, will ride like that for a few days to see if I like it, probably put the Db killer back in it.

Wish I had recorded the before and after exhaust notes.

It's Schaweet!!

The install kits are all inclusive..

No re-use of hardware, new clamps, new bolts.. EVERYTHING you need but tools (I needed a 15mm socket, 22mm wrench, and an 8mm allen) and locktite come in the kit.

Took about an hour (maybe less) to take the old pipe off, and put on the new.

Picked up Bubba at 5:30 from daycare, came home, weighed the new exhaust, by 6:40 I was done and had it cranked up to see how it sounded.

The site claims a 25 pound savings.. NOT.. the old exhaust only weighed 20, and I think it impossible for something to weigh -5 pounds..

New pipe weighs ten pounds.. and looks FANTASTIC..

Do you have a fuel leak near the kickstand?
I thought I saw some rice near it.......j/k :howdy:
Looks nice Bob! I'd like to hear what it sounds like. Is it deeper or louder than the stock pipe?

that's not rice it's spaetzle..

And a LITTLE louder, but a lot deeper..

And that was the WD40 I put on the exhaust clamp up by the header and the Lambda sensor right near the center stand. Did that outside, then moved it into the garage to tear into it..

We should confuse him even more by parking my Blackbird next to your RS and add a Ducati to the mix.

Where did you get that idea that I am "testy"? I wasn't offended or upset.
FYI: I do not go backwards in life. I've owned 6 rice bikes and 2 Harleys.:yay:
:howdy:
Me too, thats why I asked the Italian Onion.
You can kiss my girlfriend but you can NOT ride my Harley!! The nerve of some people; asking to drive my HD? Now I'm upset!:lmao:

I've been riding for over 30 years now, and I have my own opinion of "going backwards". Anyway, its all in fun, keep the rubber side down.:buddies:

ABSOLUTELY! What I mean by going backwards is that I've enjoyed ALL my bikes but there's just something about the brotherhood of Harley riders that I never had with the others. The Saturday cook outs at the Harley shops, the group rides and the acceptance wherever I go is great!
I've been riding since 1975 and I enjoy it like it's new every Spring. Maybe I'll see you guys somewhere in So Md this season.
I promise to wave..................if you wave first...

If it works for you, then great. I avoid group rides myself, and I always wave! :howdy: I understand those who don't are too terrified to let go of a handle bar for an instant...
