Do your thumbs hurt yet?Ponytail said:I just went to Best Buy, though Walmart and Target also have everything you need. I didn't bother shopping around. I just went to BB and tried to avoid the sales people. you can pluck everything off the shelf. The salespeople will bombard you with offers for extended service warranties and chit. I didn't think it was worth it. There are MILLIONS of these things world wide, figured by now, the bugs have been worked out, and if a controller dies, it'll be because I wore it out, and I really don't see that happening. I mean unlike when I was a kid, I do have a 40hr a week job now. So, how much can I REALLY play.
Also, go to Target for the games. BIG selection and a "cheap rack". That's where I found burnout, Chevy vs Ford and ATV, and those games all saw HEAVY use this weekend.

you can use your controller for the remote alsoPonytail said:Yea, I know that. But I have a pretty nice DVD player with a remote, and the new PS2's don't come with a remote...they're extra too. And yes, I am THAT lazy now.![]()

Where are your getting this $300.00 figure??bresamil said:You can do both. Redecorating won't cost more than $300. I have it figured out. Just go get the system. It'll be killer on your TV.
Paint, slipcovers, window covering, wall hanging, pillows, area rug. Around $300. At least that will cover the rec room and living room.Mikeinsmd said:Where are your getting this $300.00 figure??
Just painted 2 yrs ago.... Aren't slip covers tacky? The rest I'm ok with.bresamil said:Paint, slipcovers, window covering, wall hanging, pillows, area rug. Around $300. At least that will cover the rec room and living room.
I think you should paint the big wall. It'll add depth and color and save you a bundle. You said a lodgey look. I vote for a navaho (sp?) red - maybe textured. Wooden blinds. Woven rug. Nothing wrong with that rec room furniture unless you've destroyed it recently. Just add pillows. Solid color slip covers on the furniture in the living room - they make nice fitted ones now. Maybe a wall hanging, but that means dusting. Big mirror might be wicked.Mikeinsmd said:Just painted 2 yrs ago.... Aren't slip covers tacky? The rest I'm ok with.![]()
