I can't even play an FPS for more than 20 minutes...
I think I get some kind of motion sickness.

Within minutes my neck starts to hurt, I start to get a lump in my throat and begin feeling nauseous. Then headaches. Then I start to sweat profusely. And it's only gotten worse as I've gotten older.

I don't buy FPS games anymore. The last one I played was Half-life multiplayer. Other than that, the only other one I've played was Wolfenstein - the original one.

It's been doin' something funky to me too. I think though what I'm expereincing is just dehydration and anxiety. Playing too damn long with no refreshments, or breaks, and knowing that I'm supposed to be doing something else.

I always had problems with my contacts drying out while playing games. I guess I wasn't blinking enough to keep them wet. Not a problem any more thanks to LASIK!

Worst game ever for motion sickness...Descent. Imagine an FPS without gravity...:barf:

ive had PS2's since before they came out in the states. i use japan PS2 for movies/games from japan (anime's) (even did some soldering to allow it to play u.s. games), u.s. for local movies/games. too late now, but i just sold about 30 games on classifieds here. only games i kept were Final Fantasy 7 (banned for sales in u.s.), and Gran Turismo's, from both regions

only thing i can say about them is to make sure you have filters on the vents, as they collect up dust inside, longer you play the more its fans suck up dust, which is bad for the DVD player, as for any other DVD player, heck, even computer cases. Ive had to take mine completely apart as the reader was having problems playing known good media (cd's, dvd's, games, etc). other than that, youre doing yourself injustice using its rca's, much better in s-video.

Sorry I missed the sale. Some of those games sound pretty cool, and unique since they weren't released here. And thanks for the tip about the vents. I've got some leftover airfilter material I can use.

I thought that your post was well thought out and helpful, regardless what the peanut gallery has to say.
