looks like a good time, I could not comet to an all day ride. We skiped the poker run also and meet with some friends and rode to Point Lookout, my second year with them, there was 12 or 13 bikes with us

Got a little chilly on the ride home, but we had a ball playing and just rideing

Happy new year and also ways a good one when you start on the bike

I was thinkin' about ya's when I got up at noon today. I was up at 7, or at least awake long enough to realize that my bed was warmer than the rest of the house, and surely warmer than outside, and promptly rolled back over and went to sleep.

Guess I'm just not as dedicated to the sport as the rest of ya's. Looks like ya's had a good time though.

Maybe I'll catch up with ya on the next 50 degree day, or in the spring, which ever comes first.

240 here... GREAT ride, even if I got stuck behind OBNOXIOUSLY loud bikes.. Couldn't even hear my own bike. and the damn backfiring.. WOW!

Would have been MUCH more enjoyable if it was little quieter.

I got one of these OBNOXIOUSLY loud bikes. I admit in a group ride it is to loud but mine does not back fire. If I ride with a group I put my baffles back in. I need to cut mine down and get them to where I want. With them in is to quite but all of them out is to loud.

Ready for warm dry weather to be back

That's the accident I posted about. Don't know the outcome, but it sounded really, really bad. I was worried it was someone that went on the forum ride.

I drove down to see where it happened. The investigative paint did not look like there was much speed cause it was a 15 mph zone in a neighborhood. Maybe no helment maybe a dirt bike? dunno

Scanner said severe head trauma, gurlging on blood, but I know they finally got a pulse. They were administering CPR when the call first came in. I couldn't follow it after that, but it seem to take the helicopter quite some time to get there.

Pics are on the Ridge VFD web site. It is exactly were we drove down to. I believe I know the person involved and do hope he is okay. The road was blocked for hours.

Any more info on this? Where it happened, what hospital the victim is in? We believe it is someone from work here, young guy too.

TIA

I don't believe this is a young guy. I am in the process of trying to confirm the name. The person I know lives at the end of the driveway where the accident occurred. So it is most likely him.

If the bike on the left (front of bike shown) in the pic is the one involved, it could be our guy from here. He had a black Wide Glide. Kinda hard to tell from these pics, but it could be.

Thanks.

I just spoke with a friend who is going to drive to the person we know's house and check to see if it is him or not. She called PG shock Trauma and asked if this certain person was a patient and they said no. That could be good or bad news. I believe it was the black bike I recognize the other bike and the guy in the leather jacket in the pics.
