And not Pete, Otter, or any other dudes that would have me eff this up

She just texted. Now, do I:

A) Play her game and ignore it for two days?

or,

B) Answer it quickly like the desparate sap that I am?

Give it an hour or two. Then text her back.

Stop drooling on your phone, you might drop it.

Maybe she has issues in her life right now that you are not aware of. Let her come to you. :huggy:

You mean like her 3rd child's father just got out on parole and is hanging out on her couch until he can find a job, her 5th child still has diarrhea for the second month in a row because of vitamin c deficiency and her trailer is going through foreclosure?

I learned my lesson on that one. After 8 months of living with them, I decided things weren't getting any better and just had to move out :coffee:

Tell her you are waiting for the responses to your poll (about how to answer her) from your best internet friends back in Southern Maryland. :yay:

Text her back and tell her that Marco doesn't like you receiving texts from women, but you'll get back to her later.

See, that's the kind of advice I don't need. Did I mention she's a nurse? If I don't play my cards correctly, that'll ruin my plans to play "pretty nurse and mildly injured fireman" :smack:

:yeahthat: You don't want her to think (or know) that you are so anxious to hear from her. She may be one of those independant women who is afraid to get too deeply involved too quickly. I can relate because I was the same way before I met my hubby. I had been with a control freak/stalker type for way too long. After I dumped his sorry azz, any dude who texted or called too often got the boot because he scared me away. I don't like clingy and a lot of other women don't either.

Best advice - fight the urge to text/call any more frequently than she does. Try to mirror her actions. Let her chase you a little if she's truly interested. Good luck!

Is that anything like "Pretty nurse and snake bite victim"?

Wait a minute, wait a minute! I'm starting to see a pattern here. Too many of these answers have the words "stalker" in them

But, you're right. She did mention that she is an independant woman. I'm screwed aren't I?
