"You want to talk about someone in the NFL sacrificing everything? Pat Tillman. NFL STARTING, not benched, player who left to join the Army and died for it. THAT is sacrificing everything for something you believe in.

How about other warriors? Warriors who will not be on magazine covers, who will not get lucrative contracts and millions of followers from their actions and who have truly sacrificed everything. They did it because they believed in something. Take it from me, when I say they sacrificed everything, they also sacrificed the lives of their loved ones who will never be the same. THAT is sacrificing everything for something they believe in."

Why is everyone beating around the Bush.
Nike did this because they expect to enhance the desire ability of their product by appealing to racist blacks.

The decision was purely racial. Maybe it will work ,Colon has a lot of players kneeling

Looking over the stats on this putz, he wasn’t worth keeping even before the protest.

It is widely opined that had he been a better player, he would have a contract - protest or no protest. Some guy on one of the shows tried to say that Kaepernick was one of the best QBs in the NFL, and the whole panel burst out laughing.

Does anyone know if Nike is the official brand of any of the NFL or NCAA football teams? If they are... they won't be for long. I wonder if Nike thought about that?

Nike knows most racists prefer bright white New balances and don't have much discretionary income anyway so they figure they are doing the right thing socially and it won't hurt their bottom line much anyway

Perhaps if you spoke to them and shared your experience they would produce a "Bright White" version in your lower income price range! :jet:

Yeah no it never crossed the minds at a company worth billions yet it crossed yours.

You should call them up.

It's code for extra money that a person can do whatever they choose to do.

Not really something most Trump supporters have to worry about

Why do you think it is that Trump supporters are more financially and professionally successful than you left wing government-dependent slugs?
