no more classic rock in somd ?

Read in the paper the other day that 94.7 is changing its format to...of all things ... POP ... no more classic rock ... with the recent changes that 97.7 made that leaves us without a classic rock station
Why in the world does anyone think we need 3 stations that all play the same stuff ? :shrug:

Big 100.3 plays really good classic rock. I pick it up in Calvert. Love it.

While 94.7 was The Globe, I switched to 100.3. When I found 94.7 went back to classic rock, I went back to them as I liked their playlist better. Back to 100.3 for me now.

XM radio....

Instead of one radio station playing the same three songs over and over and over and over........... Now you have three stations playing the same one song over and over and over and over.......... DC radio sucks ass.

I just purchased a new truck with a cd player and it's satellite ready. Where's the best place to get a satellite receiver around here? It was low on my necessity list but the recent radio downfall just moved it up.
