You guys are hilarious! I absolutely should have reported him for indecent exposure! Too bad I always come up with the clever and witty things after the fact!

Wow, you guys are a lot nicer than my neighbors. My dogs only bark when a car pulls into the driveway or they see a squirrel or something so usually, they're pretty quiet. We let them out at about 7am one Saturday so they could be out during the day while I attended a horse-show. Things didn't go as planned so we got home by about 10am and my dogs started barking when we got into the driveway. My neighbor drove like a bat out of hell over to my house and started screaming (he was still in his boxers so I assume he had just rolled out of bed) about the dogs and how he was going to call the cops. Twenty minutes later, the cops showed up at our house. Luckily, they sided with us and said that the dogs were fine.

Our Dalmatian would bark whenever somebody would get too close to our fence. Our neighbor would complain. When we asked when he heard our dog bark, he'd say "When I came into your yard and stood by the fence." We then told him that the problem was easily solved... stay in your own yard!!

My 2 GSD and Dobie sleep indoors; but alert to anything going on outdoors. By alert I mean they start with a "gruff-gruff, then a louder "gruff gruff"; then a full out yeouwwwwwwww. :jameo:
Thank God we live out in the country-out of any neighbor's earshot. They have trained me to spring out of bed upon the first "gruff gruff" 'cause they won't stop until whatever is investigated. It would be torture for anyone else to hear them.
