I always found them uncomfortable sharing the bed. I always ended up on the mountain side. I couldn't counter balance my boyfriends weight when I was only 90#.
Look for the positives… Rolling out of bed in the morning was never easier.

:lmao:

I had a couple of friends and invested in one of those their beds from sleep number.

they seem to love it, but I don’t know that I could get used to the idea of sleeping on an air mattress. It just seems crappy.

One of the best investments I've ever made! The trick to getting the heat of the bed to the correct temperature is to get two of the bed heaters and a Honeywell remote bulb thermostat and connect it to the bed heaters much more accurate temp control. I have zero back aches and no pressure point discomfort! I've had the bed since 2012.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

I had to take back the BJ King mattress. It had too many pressure points throughout the back and shoulders. Even had the problem trying to sleep on my side. I am not heavy or out of shape. The BJ mattress says 100% money back guarantee. I talked to the manager and I had to return it myself. No problem. They would not come and get it. I didn't mind though. I returned it. Besides more of the exact same thing (BJ King) that I had a problem with, the only thing they had left was a King Sealy Posturepedic in "sealed plastic wrapper. Two left of the Sealy in King. The Asst. Manager said the Sealy cost more. I paid the difference. At that point I was just glad to get something that doesn't jab me in the back every night. I noticed it looked smaller when switching it out from the BJ King to the Sealy King in the sealed wrapper. I checked again with the wrapping paper. It clearly said "KING" mattress. I got it home. Put it on the bed. It was nearly two feet narrow than what it should be. I called the Asst. Manager. He pawned me off on another employee. I told her about the problem as well. She said she would check it out and get back in touch with me in 20 minutes. She never did. I called countless times. I was put on hold several times and then "accidently" hung up on twice. I drove back to the store again, over a half hour drive each way. I brought my own measuring tape this time.

They said we are showing another King Sealy in the wrapper. I said I saw it there. It is NOT a KING. It is a QUEEEN in a KING wrapper from Sealy. The same as what already happened to me. I told them you guys are actively selling Queen mattresses to customers as if they are KIng. They ignored me. A employee took the mattress cart back to the mattresses and asked me to follow him. I did. Again, he looked for the SAME Queen Sealy in a KING plastic sealed wrap. I told them several times they should take the other Queen in a King wrap off of the display since it falsely identifies what it is. They ignored me again. I measured it for him as I did wth the other employee. I showed two employees now it was a QUEEN. Not a KING. I told the Asst. Manager from the beginning. It is like he ignored me or didn't know what to do. If all of this isn't bad enough, one of their employees let the cat out of the bag and said the "same" problem happened with other mattress products they have had. It appears this is an ongoing, continuous problem.

Meanwhile, I am forced to sleep on a Queen when I paid extra money for a Sealy King. Hopefully this has a positive ending and the BJ management will work to resolve the issue to their customer's satisfication........... To be continued....................

Just never satisfied are you. One big trouble maker. Want a good nights sleep? Get an Army cot, cover with a spongy foam to size, and make the bed. Soft, comfy cozy. As an added bonus, so much room is saved and opened up you'll think you live in a castle. And, it can easily be moved anywhere without hassle, from room to room, if you so desire. Win win.

*** I say this in jest only as an attempt at a humorous lighthearted remark to add levity to the situation. I do feel your customer service incompetence pain. Maybe you could sue for false representation of product, or threaten so to the manager of the store to get the ball rolling in your favor?

Never had a desire for a waterbed

as much as I move in my sleep, I end up waking seasick.
But the vomit is so much easier to clean off of the mattress of a watered!

I had one and it was so comfy I didn't move as much in my sleep. Only time it was a problem is when I had a few too many beverages one night and my husband thought it would be funny to start jumping on the bed.....that's how I know the puke comes up easier😁 After HE cleaned it up!

Thats all I ask is giving it the ole college try
WAY back - it was the best place to buy diapers, wipes and anything I needed for baby stuff.
It beat everything.

It also had great prices for kiddie snacks. And before the pandemic, best place for large 5 gallon bottled water. Not so much, now.

STILL go there for some things - some clothes, snacks in large containers, spices in large containers.
Get MIL's snacks and coffee and it's probably the best place for kitchen and party items (which I don't buy anymore, but we used to).

And WHEN they have them, best place for pool supplies.

I think he was referring to slightly different BJs.

It's a $1300.00 mattess. And it appears to be the same as the mattress store products. In addition, I tried all of the mattress stores in the County. That's why I ended up with BJs. Bad move. They used to have good stuff. I guess times change. None at the mattress stores had anything at least that I noticed that didn't have issues. However, I have recently been told that more and more people are getting on line mattresses in a box these days because so many people, other than myself are disappointed in mattress stores as well. I suspect I will probably end of going that direction. But, not until I have concrete advice on which one is the best product and best for the money.
Its not the same, mattress is like most tires and other products The Clubs sell.
Its built just for "The Clubs" and marked like the others. Its built to be less expensive in the clubs.
Been there, done that.

I'd be afraid to buy a mattress online in case I had to return it. I bought a topper online and when I realized it wasn't holding up well (within 30 days) the thought of trying to compress it to roll it up to ship it back went out the window, so I'm stuck with it.

Can you still buy those?? I had one back in the 70s when waterbeds were "cool"..
I paid a lot of money for my solid oak waterbed frame in the late 70's/early 80's that sits on a Captain's Pedestal with cabinets and drawers and loved my waterbed mattress but eventually I switched it over to a regular mattress which is awful, worst $1,000 I ever spent. Had to add a 4" memory foam topper on it to sleep. I'm ready to go back to a heated waterbed mattress. Very sturdy bed frame that has lasted many years. I bought it when I worked in waterbed sales as a youngster.

Sounds identical to the one I bought many years ago. It was an "impressive" piece of furniture. Lost in the divorce. -p
