Luckily, the four are inside garages and out of sight but we do have SIX daily drivers in our driveway (goes horizontal to accommodate them all). People have stopped and asked if we were selling any of them.
I'm glad nothing on my property can be seen from the road. We're currently applying for a permit to put up a 26x30 garage for the missus' two trucks and her motorcycle. Of course the county is throwing up all sorts of sand in the the air about that plan.

Why not just build it on cinder block supports with 4x4 foundation beam skids, and attach earth cable anchors to keep it from moving or blowing away during a storm? Since it wouldn't be fixed to the ground, and somewhat easily moved to a different compound location if wanting or necessary, it wouldn't be considered a permanent structure needing permits.

We want nice looking permanent garage with a concrete floor, electric door opener, etc. County ordinance limits that kind of detached structure to 600sf...not enough to accommodate the vehicles we're wanting to build it for.
