You goofballs are gonna feel like a bunch of :dork:s when he's Presidenting in late January...aren't ya???

Thats not gonna happen now, his popularity and gone to the floor(thank goodness for he was full of :bs: from the get go. He reminds me of someone that just wants to tickle your ear and tell you what you wanna hear when in actuality they believe nothing of what they have spoke.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows John McCain’s lead growing against both potential Democratic opponents. McCain currently leads Barack Obama 49% to 42% and Hillary Clinton 51% to 41% margin. LINK

Being in the lead this early probably means your going to loose.

Depends, he might keep dropping little jems like this:

The point I was making was not that my grandmother harbors any racial animosity. She doesn't. But she is a typical white person who, uh, if she sees somebody on the street that she doesn't know there's a reaction that's been been bred into our experiences that don't go away and that sometimes come out in the wrong way and that's just the nature of race in our society. We have to break through it..." - Senator Barack Obama

Can you imagine if a white candidate said someone was a "typical black person?"

No kidding, that would be the end of that candidate. They would probably not be able to show their face in public again. Not to mention what Sharpton and his posse would do.

Yes.

... I cannot envision her making up the difference in votes and/or committed delegates...unless Obama is photographed hugging Dick Cheney, or something equally absurd.

I don't see how 1 photograph would hurt, they *are distant relatives, afterall. :coffee:

...wrong with hugging family? That is actually, though you may have not meant it thus, part of the larger issue. Knee jerk Bush/Cheney haters (Obama lovers) have got to be able to make the case that their guy can bridge the gap to the right wing of the Dem party and to left leaning GOP'ers or they'll have no reason to not vote McCain. Will the SD's go with Obama, assuming it's real, real close come Denver if they think he's gonna lose?

Ooops, should have read further! :yay:

...if you say so. :lmao: The only remotely possible redemption for W is one of these two taking office right after him. I've already accepted that a Democrat will be inaugurated in January 2009. I know far more GOP'ers who don't like McCain and WILL NOT VOTE for him than I do ones who will hold their nose and vote for him.

I can't wait for the fun of either Hillary and reliving the farce of the 90's or a whole new game as more and more people come to accept that Obama is the farthest left Senator for a reason.

I'm simply interested in the politics of this.

From what I have read this is / can be a Typical Black reaction to ghetto thugs hanging on the corner walking down the street with their pants hanging down ..... common black folks start grabbing @ their purses too .....

Another interesting fact:

BLACK ON BLACK CRIME STATISTICS

While African Americans comprise 12% of the U.S. population, 45% of all murder victims in 2002 were African American, 91% of whom were killed by African Americans. Nationally, homicide is the leading cause of death for black men and second leading cause of death for black women ages 15-24.
